Cabbaja is a versatile, savoury wholesale plant-based chorizo paste. The texture is firm but spreadable. The flavour is smokey and spicy with a subtle sweetness.
Fermented for flavour, cabbaja wholesale plant-based chorizo paste is created with living gut friendly microbes and needs to be kept in the fridge where it will continue to slowly mature and develop complex flavours.
For sandwiches, pizza and pasta.

Where we deliver
We deliver across the UK (excluding the Channel Islands). Our prices include the cost of standard delivery across the UK and/or express tracked delivery to most of England and Wales. Additional charges may apply for express tracked delivery to other parts of the UK.
Where the product price includes standard delivery charges, this means the cost of second class delivery by Royal Mail of small parcels under 2kg in weight to anywhere in the UK, excluding the Channel Islands.
Ambient, non-chilled items under 2kg will be sent by standard second class post (this usually takes 3-5 working days), or on a tracked 48 hour Royal Mail service. Tracking details, where available, with an estimated delivery date are provided as soon as possible after the items are shipped.
Perishable items will be sent by express tracked delivery by DHL, Royal Mail or DPD. This currently usually takes 1-3 business days from dispatch. Tracking details with an estimated delivery date are provided as soon as possible after the items are shipped.
Where the product price includes express tracked delivery, this means the cost of tracked express delivery by courier (usually DHL) to the UK excluding the Channel Islands and also excluding the following postal areas:

Couriers charge more to ship our products to the above postal areas. If you require delivery to one of these areas we will need check with the courier to prepare a bespoke quote. Please use the contact form to contact us so that we can verify the cost of postage with the courier before you place an order. For parcels weighing under 2kg Royal Mail Tracked 24 is likely to be the fastest and cheapest service. For parcels weighing over 2kg, DPD is likely to provide the next most economical service.
If you decide to go ahead with the quote, a credit of £5 will be added to your charges. Therefore, should the fee for postage from, say DPD, be £16, for example, you will pay an extra £11. And if the fee is £7.80 with Royal Mail you will pay an additional £2.80.
You may alternatively arrange a collection from our premises by appointment.
Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Cornwall, the Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly delivery may take longer than 3 days at busy times.

Which days of the week do we send out/arrange collection of deliveries?
Our standard shipping day is every Wednesday with Royal Mail/DHL across England and Wales and Royal Mail/DPD across Scotland.
You may collect from our Didsbury base by appointment. You will need to email us to arrange a time or alternatively we will email you.
We aim to have your delivery ready for dispatch within 2 working days of receipt of your order.
Once your order has been posted (if an express delivery service is applicable) we will provide a tracking number by email.
From that point it is your responsibility to track your item and either make sure you or someone else on your behalf are at home to accept delivery, or arrange a redelivery or collection from the courier.
If you do not take delivery, within a reasonable timescale or 1-2 business days, we cannot replace items that may have spoilt as a result.
Items in transit
Our products are resilient to minor fluctuations in temperature and humidity in transit. 1-3 business days in transit in ambient temperature should not cause spoilage.
In warmer weather, we may pack our products in reusable ice sheets for protection.
Upon receipt of your order please note the storage instructions and place items in the refrigerator where instructed.
At peak times, for example Christmas, it is possible that items will take longer to arrive, even when you pay extra for express delivery.
Perishable items that have not been delivered within 7 business days will be replaced. However, please note that this does not apply when tracking details have been provided and delivery has been attempted, but you were not at home to take delivery.
When we accept returns
Our products are perishable and like all food products, for safety, they are non-returnable unless they are damaged or faulty.
If they are damaged/faulty on receipt, we ask that you take a photograph of the product/s (unopened preferably) and contact us without delay by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will replace any products damaged before receipt by you, without hesitation, providing we are notified upon receipt and, in the case of external damage to the product, before the item is opened.
Please take note of the storage instructions of your product. We cannot offer refunds or replacements in the event of your failure to care for your items in accordance with those instructions.
What sort of packaging do we use?
All our packaging is fully recyclable/compostable.
Our boxes are made from mostly recycled cardboard.
Parcel filling is made from paper and/or starch based material.
Our vacuum seal bags are compostable.
Wheatcheese wedges are vacuum packed in a 100% compostable vacuum bag.
Cabbaja and wheatcheese melt are packaged in a glass jar with metal lid. Both are widely recyclable.
We use recycled/recyclable carboard postal boxes and shredded paper to pack the boxes.
We may also reuse any packaging such as bubble wrap that we have received on incoming goods from time to time.
