Cabbaja red chorizo paste is a spicy little number packed with a trio of red fermented, ancho and chipotle chillies, smokey paprika, fermented garlic and a dash of maple syrup – and of course our fava, flax, red cabbage base blended with organic coconut and rapeseed oils.
Add to pizzas (with wheatcheese melt), toasties, burritos, stir fry vegetables, scrambled tofu, baked beans and more – or just spread on a cracker.
Green chorizo is based on the Mexican recipe, slightly milder than the red version, with chimichurri style flavours fermented green chillies, coriander and oregano. Top tip – heat in the microwave for a crumbly texture, then add to your favourite burrito or chilli or just crumble over a baked potato (try adding some wheatcheese melt as well – heaven.
Sealed in glass jars all 3 are safe to store at ambient temperatures until opening (perfect for a gift). Then keep them in the fridge and use within around 7-10 days (see jar for more details).
